My name is Lottrenise Smith and I am your Graduation Coach for the 2020-2021 school year. Entering my seventh year in education and second year at Frederick Douglass High School , I have a five years of experience working with. at-risk scholars . I received a Bachelors of Science degree in Sociology from Voorhees College and a Masters of Arts degree in School Counseling from Thee Clark Atlanta University .I look forward to working with the scholars this year . Services
As Fredrick Douglass High School's Graduation Coach, I am here to assist your child with staying on track for graduation. My primary goals are to assist him/her in finding academic assistance, coordinating credit recovery, as well as many other aspects of academic life here at Fredrick Douglass high School.
An important aspect of my job is building a relationship with the students, their parents, and the school community. Building these relationships are critical in motivating students to perform well in their quest to graduate from high school.
